Shine Up Your Boots: Join Us for Music for the Mission 2025

There's something special about gathering together for a cause that matters. This November, The Promise School invites you to an unforgettable evening of music, fellowship, and community spirit at our annual Music for the Mission fundraiser.

An Evening to Remember

Mark your calendars for Thursday, November 13, 2025, from 6:00-9:00 PM at the stunning Greek Orthodox Church of the Holy Trinity in downtown Charleston. This adults-only event promises an elegant evening with a country twist—think country cocktail attire and boots that shine as bright as your generous spirit.

What to Expect

From the moment you arrive, you'll be treated to an open bar and an impressive spread of heavy hors d'oeuvres. But the real star of the evening is our very own Promise School dad, Wesley Liston, performing as his country/Americana alter ego, Gritty Flyright. Wesley's authentic songwriting and compelling performances have made him a rising name in the Americana scene, and we're thrilled to have him share his talents with our community.

Support Education Through Fun

Every dollar raised goes directly to educational programs at The Promise School. Throughout the evening, you'll have the opportunity to bid on exciting high-end silent auction items. VIP tables are available and include reserved seating, exclusive Promise School swag, and other delightful surprises.

Get Your Tickets

Tickets are $75 per person and can be purchased through our website. Can't make it but still want to support our mission? We welcome donations of any amount—every contribution makes a difference in the lives of our students.

Sponsorship Opportunities

Businesses and individuals interested in sponsorship opportunities can contact Paul Lopez at 312-420-6180. It's a unique chance to showcase your support for exceptional education in our community.

We look forward to seeing you there for an evening of friends, fellowship, and fantastic music—all in support of The Promise School's educational mission.
